Currently some of our events are cancelled due to Coronavirus, namely the pool sessions on Friday and Wednesdays at the river. However we hope to open soon and so see the relevant month below for more information
Club Trips Notice
To avoid disappointment on the day - it is important you notify the trip organiser if you intend paddling. Every trip has an upper limit of paddlers to comply with safety guide lines. Please remember to notify the organiser or you may well be turned away on the day. Thankyou

At a club meeting yesterday (25th March) it was decided to ask the coaches to meet on the river on Sunday 4th at 10:00am. They are asked to be prepared to paddle and discuss running sessions from the 11th April.
Coaches meet at the river with all their kit to plan for the opening session.
SCC open to kayakers who have booked and are members.
The slalom event we were planning to run on the weekend of the 24th April has been cancelled by the British Canoe Union. We will keep you informed. As of today 17/2/2020 the BCU site is experiencing some technical problems, and so you may need to look elsewhere for breaking news about slalom events.
To avoid disappointment, book through Webcollect through the home page. If you are a non-member, contact us as we will need to arrange a coach for you.
Sunday river sessions have resumed as normal as of April. The sessions start at 9:30am on Sunday at Outibridge. They cease at noon. Bring a change of clothes, a towel and please pay in advance if you can.
Wednesday river sessions resume on 23rd June. Contact the club to ensure the session is running.
